Chorus at the Castle

Pitch up with your picnic for a joyful evening of music with Pop Chorus and special guests The Garfunkels, within the stunning walls of Framlingham Castle.

Talented duo The Garfunkels (Woodbridge-based musicians Tom Mumford and Angelo Littler) open the evening with a captivating set of beautifully harmonised Simon & Garfunkel classics including Mrs Robinson, The Boxer and Cecilia.

A multitude of voices from Suffolk community choir Pop Chorus then come together for an informal sing-through of the some of the acclaimed choir’s favourite hits. Expect songs by artists ranging from Supertramp, Ed Sheeran and Take That to Olivia Dean and Florence & The Machine. The assembled audience are welcome to join in, or just sit back and enjoy the lush sounds as the sun goes down.

Timings:
6:30pm Gate opens
7:15pm The Garfunkels, followed by Pop Chorus singalong
10pm (approx) close

Tickets are £20 per adult, U16s & Essential Companions free.

Bring your own picnic. There are a limited number of picnic benches on the castle lawn, but guests are welcome to bring their own blankets and picnic chairs. The Castle will be operating a licensed bar and serving hot drinks and ice creams. Parking is available in the Castle’s own car park and in town. This open air event will go ahead come rain or shine, so please dress accordingly!
