A Cappella Singing with Owen Butcher

Join us for a fun-filled morning of a cappella music, exploring ensemble and harmony singing with Owen, a member of the UK’s leading vocal harmony group.

Whether you’re an accomplished singer or complete beginner, this will be an engaging and fulfilling session of music-making!

Owen Butcher is a classically-trained singer from Suffolk who has travelled the world! He progressed through ensembles and the National Youth Choir before venturing to New Zealand. Honing his craft back at York University he developed a deep affinity for contemporary music and musical theatre, taking on prominent theatrical roles.

Last year Owen became a member of the renowned, Grammy award-winning singing group The Swingles. When they’re not busy touring, Owen teaches and has conducted specialised research in vocal health and rehabilitation.

This promises to bring Owen’s wealth of experience into a fun, accessible session at Hacheston Village Hall.

Hacheston Village Hall is located 5 minutes off the A12 Framlingham turnoff, on the B1116 main road opposite the church. It has approximately 50 parking spaces and is disabled-accessible.

Tickets are £20 and available to Pop Chorus members and friends and family. Under 16s benefit from a reduced price of £10.
